introduces its new pea harvester, the SB 10000.
This
machine has been researched and designed entirely in our
Design Department in Quimper. The vehicle, especially
designed for preservation of the soil, is constructed on a
3-axle base. The 2 front axles have large 750/R26 wheels
and those on the rear axles are 710/45X26.5. In addition,
to meet an even greater requirement, it can be fitted with
tracks on the front driving gear.
A
very large threshing chamber provides the machine with a
capacity that has, to date, not been equalled. It consists
of a large diameter threshing reel and a beater with 8
rows of blades. The angle of 4 of these can be
hydraulically adjusted during threshing. Combined with an
automatic drive system, this threshing principle makes
exceptional selection and sorting possible, whilst
preserving the product, even with very low tenderometry
(85 90).
The
harvester has tines with rubber bases and can be offset so
as to be able to work in wet weather without damaging the
crop. In addition, it can be unhooked in less than 5
minutes.
The
engine with a power of 470CV is located behind the cab and
mounted in a soundproof compartment, thus ensuring the
comfort of the driver. In order to optimise fuel
consumption, the engine is adjusted to 1650 rev/min and is
cooled by a fan with viscostatic drive. Access to the
motor is facilitated by an hydraulic system to move the
cab, and by easily removable panels.
Levelling
is based on an original system, allowing correction of 18%
side-side and 15% front / back. This new idea of side-side
correction, consisting of independent right and left
boggies, makes it possible to have a low position (4 m)
for the road and a high position for the field.
The
air-conditioned cab, which is very modern and ergonomic,
is equipped with electric controls and a control screen
with touch buttons, making it easy to see the operating
settings for the harvest, the engine and the hydraulic
system.
This
machine has also been designed to facilitate maintenance
due to the easy secure access points.
